In 2000, Rila Institute of Health Sciences developed the first University and Royal College of General Practitioners approved Postgraduate Diploma in ENT for General Practitioners.
Since then, in response to the UK government policy of promoting the concept of Practitioners with Special Interests to reduce pressure on hospitals, Rila hasdeveloped a further 10 nationally accredited postgraduate diplomas for practicing GPs and Nurses, validated by Plymouth University.
